Pricing
Clear answers before care starts.
Every family is different. We quote after a free consultation — here is how pricing works.
What affects your rate
- Hours per week — occasional respite vs daily support.
- Level of care — companionship, personal care, dementia support, or awake 24-hour coverage.
- Schedule — daytime, evening, overnight, or live-in models.
- Payment source — private pay, insurance, or waiver programs with different documentation requirements.
Patron Senior Living does not publish a one-size-fits-all hourly rate online because every care plan is built around one person. Call (402) 800-7759 or request a consultation — we will walk through options honestly, including programs families often do not know exist.
Common questions
- How much does in-home senior care cost in Omaha?
- Cost depends on how many hours you need, the level of assistance (companion vs hands-on personal care vs 24-hour coverage), and whether care is weekdays-only or includes overnights. Patron provides a written quote after a free in-home consultation — no obligation.
- What payment options do families use?
- Most families start with private pay. Others use long-term care insurance, veterans benefits (Aid & Attendance), or Nebraska's Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid waiver for eligible clients. We help you understand which options may apply.
- Is there a minimum number of hours?
- Minimums vary by care type and schedule. Respite visits can be a few hours; ongoing plans typically start with a consistent weekly block. Your care coordinator will recommend the smallest sustainable schedule that keeps your loved one safe.
- Does Medicare cover non-medical home care?
- Medicare generally covers skilled home health (nursing, therapy) — not ongoing non-medical personal care. Hospital discharge planners can clarify skilled vs custodial needs; Patron focuses on non-medical care at home.
